This blog started out with me trying to fight (what was diagnosed as) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by having a healthy lifestyle. I also wanted to lessen my carbon footprint in the process. My plan was to chronicle the changes I made in my life to "save myself and the planet" (which was my old title). A few months after I began this blog I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It changed the direction of blog, so I needed to change the title.

possible round 3?
I had my neuro appointment today to discuss seizures and meds. As we were discussing medicine possibilities she dropped yet another bomb on me. If my seizures cannot be controlled with medicine she is suggesting ANOTHER surgery. I cannot even imagine having abother brain surgery. I was in such shock that I did not even have anything to respond with. Luckily K was there to ask the vital questions. At this point I rather have seizure then take more of my brain out. My seizures are not that bad for me to think about surgery. Right now they are more of a nuisance then anything else. I wonder if the doc is assuming they are going to get worse. She was even talking about taking out parts of the brain that do not have the tumor because they can also be causing seizures if damaged. I already feel the second surgery might have been unnecessary never mind a THIRD. Who has three brain surgeries, this is madness. I already see affects from my previous surgeries that get me down. Like- short term memory loss, attention, fatigue, etc. I cannot imagine how I would come out of another surgery. Of course my neuro is in no rush for this, but I cannot stop thinking about how crazy this is.
