This blog started out with me trying to fight (what was diagnosed as) Chronic Fatigue Syndrome by having a healthy lifestyle. I also wanted to lessen my carbon footprint in the process. My plan was to chronicle the changes I made in my life to "save myself and the planet" (which was my old title). A few months after I began this blog I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It changed the direction of blog, so I needed to change the title.

still in the middle of everywhere and nowhere
I had an appointment today at Sloan Kettering with the NO and NS. They pretty much sat me down to tell me when I need the surgery and what I need to do before hand. Silly me I thought I was there to discuss IF I need another surgery, not when. They were also very set on me having the surgery at Sloan with their NS. I thought this was just a consult. Luckily the NS nurse is super sweet and told me it was my decision and I need to feel at peace with it. I was at peace with it and totally ready one month ago when my surgery was scheduled. Now I am annoyed that I feel I wasted all this time and could have been done with the surgery already. I am torn on what to do. I would want to stay with my original surgeon because I trust him. But Sloan has newer technology. I do not know what to do. I just want to do the surgery and get this tumor out already, but I am scared of losing so much of my vision. Is it worth losing my vision for a tumor that may or not may grow. I hate making silly decisions never mind one so life altering.
